Jetpack Contact Form and W3 Total Cache Oppsies
“Are you sure you want to do that?” That’s the message I was getting from assorted WordPress sites when using Jetpack’s built in contact form. And by golly I know they use to work.
If you are using W3 Total Cache try this and see if that solves the problem.
- Log in to WordPress.
- Go to ‘Performance’ -> ‘Page Cache’
- Scroll down to the ‘Advanced’ section and look for the box ‘Never cache the following pages’
- In this box, on a new line, add the full URL to your page or post with the contact form on it.
- Scroll down and hit ‘save all settings’
- Empty your cache.
- Reload your page with the contact form.
- Send yourself a test message.
If that fixed it then say “yay!” If it didn’t . . . damn. You got me on that one.
P.S. – Also when writing a post, don’t hit the ‘publish’ button instead of the ‘save draft’ button. 🙂
